Ecostrim project workshop: Building strategies for innovative maritime and coastal tourism offer in the Mediterranean - 22 October 2019 - Livorno Aquarium
The workshop is organised by the EcoSTRIM Project, funded by the Interreg Italy-France Maritime Programme 2014-2020. The project addresses - from the perspective of the "Blue Growth" strategy of the European Union - the challenges of maritime and coastal tourism for the cooperation area. EcoSTRIM intends to improve the ability to attract tourists by exploiting the cultural and natural assets of involved regions, thanks to innovative and sustainable tourism offer.
The workshop represents an opportunity for cross-border comparison between the various actors - public and private - of the tourism sector with the aim of identifying practices and strategies for a new sustainable approach to maritime and coastal tourism. MITOMED+ project will participate in the workshop with the presentations of the Green Beach Model as well as its MED Maritime and Coastal Tourism Management Model.
